Tim Binder
Tim Binder is the Marketing Coordinator for the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission. In this role, Tim works directly with the Vice President Marketing & Sales, to develop, administer and monitor partnership tracking and fulfillment for an array of different sporting events at the Sports Commission. In addition, Tim develops and graphically designs several pieces of collateral, website graphics, proposals and bid documents.
Tim was born and raised in the Cleveland area and graduated from Cleveland State University (CSU) earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Promotional Communication with an emphasis on Public Relations.
During his time at Cleveland State University, Tim was an active member of the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) where he worked with Northlich Public Relations as an Interactive Manager for an anti-smoking campaign entitled “Project U” through Debunkify at universities throughout our region.
Prior to attending Cleveland State University, Tim was enrolled at the University of Toledo where he studied the arts and gained valuable experience by working for television productions such as Fox’s American Idol, Fox’s Good Day Live, ABC’s The Bachelor and NBC’s Starting Over as a production and casting assistant.
Currently, Tim resides in Lakewood, Ohio. In his spare time, Tim enjoys attending concerts, comedy shows, Cleveland sporting events, recreational sports, camping and visiting his family and friends. Tim takes great pride in being part of the Sports Commission team and is dedicated to its mission of measurably enhancing the economy, image and quality of life in the Greater Cleveland community by attracting and creating significant sporting events and activities.
