Location: Quicken Loans Arena

Time: 6:00PM-8:30PM

Seventy-five local youth wrestlers (ages 8-12 years old) are invited to attend a wrestling clinic in conjunction with the NCAA DI Wrestling Championships on Wednesday, March 14th at Quicken Loans Arena. Prior to the event, youth are asked to complete several educational worksheets that focus on goal setting, becoming a better athlete and showing a commitment to sports.

Mike Krause, of NXT LVL Wrestling Academy, will lead the clinic, accompanied by several high school and college coaches and previous state, collegiate and national champions. While youth participate in the clinic, their coaches will attend an information session led by Positive Coaching Alliance. The session will focus on how to honor wrestling, coaching for mastery of sport and goal setting for their athletes.

Based on completion of the worksheets, participation at the clinic and coach session on Wednesday evening, participants will be given one ticket to attend the Saturday, March 17th morning wrestling session at The Q.

This is a closed clinic. For more information, please contact Becky Griesmer at RGriesmer@clevelandsports.org
