Rachel Gill

Rachel Gill is the Marketing Coordinator for Greater Cleveland Sports Commission. She assists with the development and execution of organizational and event specific marketing strategies, as well as manages GCSC’s social media channels.

Gill started at the Sports Commission in April 2017, bringing a passion for giving back to the city of Cleveland through major sporting events. She has had the opportunity to help market several amateur sporting events including NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field Championship, USA Wrestling UWW Cadet & University Nationals, CONCACAF Gold Cup and NEOCycle. Prior to her current role, she interned with various corporations and marketing and communications agencies in Northeast Ohio, including; Step2, Fahlgren Mortine, Flash Communications and Neighborhood Housing Services of Greater Cleveland. Additionally, she has worked on several marketing campaigns centered around Cleveland’s perception and branding.

Gill is a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Science in Public Relations and Marketing. After graduation, she took a year off to travel the US as well as abroad. Last fall, she spent several weeks backpacking in Thailand and other countries in Southeast Asia.

Gill is a Cleveland-native and currently lives in Lakewood, OH and is loving getting to do all things Cleveland again.
