Below is the basic schedule for the 2010 World School Games.

Event Dates: July 20-25, 2010
Tuesday, July 20th (dinner, accommodation)
- Team/Athlete Arrival
- Dorm Check-In
Wednesday, July 21st (breakfast, lunch, dinner, accommodation)
- Registration (noon - 4pm) Basketball and Volleyball Registration at 1pm
WHERE: John Carroll University at the Recreation Complex Atrium
WHO: ALL Coaches/Head of Delegation to submit paperwork necessary to participate
in the World School Games.
- Practice (10am - 1pm) at Hathaway Brown
- Competitions (Basketball and Volleyball 3:30pm - 5pm)
- Mandatory Coaches' Meeting (5pm - 6pm) at John Carroll University O'Dea Room
- Opening Cultural Celebration and Ice Cream Social (7pm - 10pm)
WHERE: John Carroll University
WHAT: Parade of Athletes and Ceremony will run from 7pm - 8pm, ice cream
social will run from 8pm - 10pm.
WHO: International, domestic, and local athletes and coaches. Local participants'
parents. Free to the public.
Thursday, July 22nd (breakfast, lunch, dinner, accommodation)
- Competitions (Basketball 3:30pm - 5pm; Tennis 10am - 12pm & 2pm - 5pm)
- BBQ/Picnic Social at Laurel School Butler Campus (6pm - 9pm)**
Friday, July 23rd (breakfast, lunch, dinner, accommodation)
- Competitions (All 8am - 5pm)
- Cleveland Indian's Game at the Progressive field**
Saturday, July 24th (breakfast, lunch, dinner, accommodation)
- Competition finals (All 8am - 5pm)
- Head of Delegation's Reception presented by Panera (7:30pm - 8:30pm)
WHERE: John Carroll University; Blue & Gold Room
WHAT: Head of Delegation Reception
WHO: All Heads of the Delegations
- Medal Ceremony and Closing Party (7:30pm - 10pm)
WHERE: John Carroll University
WHAT: Medal Ceremony will run in intervals during the festival, festival attractions
will be available from 7:30pm - 10pm
WHO: International, domestic, and local athletes and coaches. Local participants'
parents. Free to the public.
