CLEVELAND 2010

Event Specifics

The inaugural World School Games will be held in Cleveland, Ohio in July 20-25, 2010.

Aside from being the "Home of Rock & Roll" with the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and Museum,Cleveland also offers a plethora of culture, entertainment and attractions. 

Cleveland is the 16th largest metropolitan area and the 15th largest consumer market in the United States, with nearly 3 million residents in the Greater Cleveland metro area.  With nearly 450,000 residents, the City of Cleveland is the 33rd largest city in the country.  Approximately 170,000 students study at 24 colleges and universities in the Greater Cleveland area.

The Cleveland region is home to over 100 ethnic groups that speak more than 60 languages.  The large mix of nationalities can be seen throughout the city's neighborhoods, ethnic restaurants, more than 300 ethnic organizations and numerous festivals that continue to celebrate and preserve the cultures that make up our community.
