Award Nominations for 24th Greater Sports Awards Coming Soon...

The award winner from each of the categories listed below will be announced live during Greater Cleveland Sports Commission's annual fundraiser on Tuesday, Jan. 23, 2024.

• Male High School Athlete of the Year presented by University Hospitals Drusinsky Sports Medicine Institute 
• Female High School Athlete of the Year presented by University Hospitals Drusinsky Sports Medicine Institute 
• Male Collegiate Athlete of the Year presented by H. Jack's Plumbing & Heating Co. "The Super Plumber!"
• Female Collegiate Athlete of the Year presented by H. Jack's Plumbing & Heating Co. "The Super Plumber!"
• Professional Athlete of the Year 

Additional awards for 24th Greater Cleveland Sports Awards will include:

• Best Moment in Cleveland Sports presented by JACK Entertainment 
• Cleveland Clinic Sports Medicine Courage Award
• Lifetime Achievement Award presented by Union Home Mortgage
• Senior Athlete Award presented by Medical Mutual
• Sports Development Award

Finalists will be selected by local sports and media outlets as well as an awards committee who votes on outstanding athletes from Northeast Ohio’s following counties: Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark and Summit. The finalists in the above categories will be based on the highest number of votes.
