Submit Nominees for 25th Greater Cleveland Sports Awards

Fans! Submit who you believe should be nominated for the 25th Greater Cleveland Sports Awards. Fill in the athlete that you want to see nominated for the following categories:

  • Male High School Athlete of the Year
  • Female High School Athlete of the Year
  • Male Collegiate Athlete of the Year
  • Female Collegiate Athlete of the Year
  • Professional Athlete of the Year

Submissions will be reviewed and potentially added to the selection process when selecting the finalists that had the best 2024 athletic season in each category. View voting process. Nominee criteria listed below.

Nominee Criteria:

High School Athlete of the Year: Male and female nominees must have excelled in a High School sport in the following 9 counties this past year: Ashtabula, Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, Stark and Summit.

Collegiate Athlete of the Year: Male and female nominees must hail from the Greater Cleveland Area and have excelled at their sport this past year.

Professional Athlete of the Year: Nominees must be an athlete from one of Cleveland's professional sports teams or who hails from the Greater Cleveland Area that excelled in their sport. (Athletes from the Greater Cleveland Area in the NFL, NBA or MLB that plays for a team outside of the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers and Guardians are NOT qualified to be a finalist).

Deadline to submit nomination is November 1, 2024.
