U.S. Masters Swimming Long Course National Championship

2021 U.S. Masters Swimming (USMS) Long Course National Championship heads to Northeast Ohio on October 7-10, 2021!

Greater Cleveland Sports Commission looks forward to welcoming over 700 masters swimmers from around the world to compete at world-class aquatic facility, SPIRE Institute & Academy, in Geneva, OH. This event will provide $1.5 million in economic impact to Northeast Ohio.

This U.S. Masters Swimming (USMS) event has traditionally featured some of the fastest swimmers in the world, including multiple U.S. Olympians, such as Ashley Whitney, 1996 gold medalist, and Yoshi Oyakawa, 1952 gold medalist. Additionally, multiple FINA Masters world record–holders and USMS record–holders have broken records during this competition.

Competitors must be 18 years of age and have previously qualified to compete at the USMS Long Course National Championships. Further information on qualifications are located here.

This event is free and open to the public. Face masks are required in the venue and health and safety protocols will be in place for all attendees.
