SCORING RULES

Review the rules to ensure a smooth, competitive, and enjoyable golf for everyone.

FORMAT & GAMEPLAY

The tournament is played in a Four-Person, Best Ball (Scramble) format.

TEE BOX ASSIGNMENTS:

• Men: Blue Tees
• Women: Red Tees
• Seniors (65+): Red Tees

BALL PLACEMENT: All four players tee off on every hole. Select the best tee shot, then all team members play their next shot within one club length of that spot (not closer to the hole). Repeat this process until the hole is completed.

MAXIMUM SCORE: To keep pace of play moving, there is a Max Score of Bogey (+1) per hole. If your team cannot make a bogey or better, pick up your balls and move to the next tee box.

MULLIGANS: Available for purchase on-site at registration.

LIVE SCORING & GOLF GENIUS REQUIREMENTS

To remain eligible for top team prizes, all teams must track their round live via the Golf Genius app.

SCORE SUBMISSION: Each team will receive a unique Score ID. You must enter your team’s score immediately after completing each hole.

PACE & ACCURACY WARNINGS: Tournament staff will monitor the live leaderboard throughout the day.

• Teams will receive one (1) warning for delayed or missing scores.
• Automatic Disqualification from Top Prizes: After one hour of play, any team that is missing scores for 3 or more holes and/or fails to input accurate scores following a warning will become ineligible for top team prizes.

TIE-BREAKER: "PUT-OFF" PROCEDURE

If there is a tie for top prizes after all groups finish, a "Putt-Off" will take place on the Sleepy Hollow Putting Green.

REGULATION PUTT-OFF: Each group member takes one (1) putt from a designated spot, alternating between teams (4 attempts total per team). The team with the most made putts wins.

SUDDEN-DEATH OVERTIME: If still tied after four attempts, play moves to single-putt rounds (1 attempt per team, alternating). Overtime continues until one team makes their putt and the other misses in the same round.
