GCSC ANNOUNCES FIFTH SUMMER GOLF CLASSIC PRESENTED BY FIRST NATIONAL BANK

CLEVELANDGreater Cleveland Sports Commission (GCSC) will host its fifth Summer Golf Classic presented by First National Bank on Monday, Aug. 16 at Cleveland Metroparks Sleepy Hollow Golf Course. This fundraiser will feature 18-holes in a best ball format while maintaining a safe distance on the course.

“Our Summer Golf Classic fundraiser on this beautiful course is something golfers really look forward to attending year over year,” said David Gilbert, President and CEO of Greater Cleveland Sports Commission. “With the aid of our incredibly engaged Associate Board, we are confident that this year’s tournament will be another wonderful turnout and continue aiding us in our mission to enrich our community through sports.”

Each participant will receive lunch, beverages, a golf-themed gift and dinner during tournament awards. All golfers will be automatically entered into contests including closest to the pin, longest drive and a putting competition as well as two mulligans per person. Additional activities such as skins and a reverse raffle are available for purchase.

Foursomes and individual pricing range from $660 per group to $165 per golfer. Preregistration is required.

Further information regarding the format and tee times are pending due to health and safety guidelines. A complete list of guidelines, should they be necessitated, will be provided via our website.

GCSC’s Summer Golf Classic presented by First National Bank will be held in partnership with Ancora, Union Home Mortgage, Tito's Handmade Vodka, The Illuminating Company, Benesch, Calfee, Reliable Solutions Group, Physicians Ambulance, KJK, University Hospitals, CBRE, WLS Stamping Co., Grant Thornton, Beam Suntory, NFP, Aston Carter/Aerotek, Meritech, CBIZ and The Shamrock Companies.

All proceeds from the Summer Golf Classic will benefit local non-profit, GCSC.
