Winning moment to be announced during Sports Awards

CLEVELAND – 2021 Best Moment in Cleveland Sports presented by JACK Entertainment contest is now open. Greater Cleveland Sports Commission is asking sports fans to share their favorite fan moment from the 2021 Cleveland sports season and “show their game face” by uploading a photo of themselves, or with their family and friends, rooting on their favorite Cleveland home team.
Greater Cleveland Sports Commission is accepting submissions for its 2021 Best Moment contest via its website beginning today. Submissions are free and open to the public and must include a photo of the contestant in Browns, Cavs or Guardians gear along with their favorite moment from the 2021 Cleveland sports season. The deadline to enter submissions is Monday, Mar. 7, 2022 at 5 p.m. EST. Must be 21 years of age to enter. Rules and regulations for the contest are available here. Winners of the Best Moment contest will be notified on Tuesday, Mar. 8, 2022.
The 2021 Best Moment in Cleveland Sports, celebrating the most iconic sports achievement from the previous year, will be announced live during 22nd Greater Cleveland Sports Awards presented by Medical Mutual and Ancora on Wednesday, Mar. 23, 2022 at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse (RMFH).
This year’s Best Moment winner will receive a JACK Cleveland Casino Staycation including a one (1)night stay at The Ritz-Carlton Cleveland, two (2) Seven Chefs Buffet passes, $100 Free Play card and complimentary valet parking, a $550 total value.
Additionally, the winner will receive two (2) tickets to Sports Awards, which includes a cocktail hour presented by Medical Mutual and Ancora in the RMFH Atrium featuring a Silent Auction presented by Physicians Ambulance, open bar and high-end food stations. Following the cocktail hour, Sports Awards guests will head to their seats for refreshments, drinks compliments of Beverage Distributors and Miller Lite, and a fully-produced awards program led by a nationally recognized host. This year’s event will be followed by an after party, courtesy of Westfield, featuring a specialty martini and dessert bar, food stations and entertainment.
In addition to the Best Moment contest, the 2021 Best Moment in Cleveland Sports presented by JACK Entertainment will be a featured award announced during the live awards show. Last year, Sports Awards presented the Best Moment to the Cleveland Browns for their 2020 NFL Season and NFL Playoff Wild Card victory over the Pittsburgh Steelers.
