GCSC WELCOMES NEARLY 1,000 WRESTLERS TO SPIRE INSTITUTE ON JUNE 3-5 FOR USA WRESTLING

Top wrestlers from across the nation compete for a spot to represent the U.S. in 2022 UWW World Championships

CLEVELAND - Greater Cleveland Sports Commission will welcome nearly 1,000 wrestlers from across the country to compete in Greco-Roman and Men’s Freestyle matches during USA Wrestling’s Men’s U23 and U20 World Team Trials presented by Wrestlers in Business Network on June 3-5 at SPIRE Institute.

The championship will feature U20 (Juniors, ages 18-20) and U23 (ages 18-23) weight classes who will compete for a spot to represent the United States at the 2022 UWW World Championships in Belgrade, Serbia. Championship spots will be awarded later in June.

Ticket prices range from $10 for single day tickets to $53 for all-session passes and are available for purchase online. A full schedule of events is available here.

This three-day competition will generate an estimated $1,500,000 in economic impact for Northeast Ohio.
