2024 BEST MOMENT IN CLEVELAND SPORTS, PRESENTED BY JACK ENTERTAINMENT
Best Moment Contest Winner to receive staycation courtesy of JACK Cleveland Casino, and tickets to the 25th Greater Cleveland Sports Awards

CLEVELAND, OH – Dec. 10, 2024 – The Best Moment Contest, presented by JACK Entertainment, is now open. Greater Cleveland Sports Commission (GCSC) is encouraging local sports fans to share their favorite fan moment from the 2024 Cleveland sports season and “show their game face” by submitting a photo of themselves, or with their family and friends, rooting on their favorite Cleveland home team.

GCSC is accepting submissions for its 2024 Best Moment contest online beginning today. Submissions are free and open to the public and must include a photo of the contestant in Cleveland Browns, Cleveland Cavaliers or Cleveland Guardians gear along with their favorite moment from the 2024 Cleveland sports season. The deadline to enter submissions is Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. EST and you must be 21 years of age to enter. Rules and regulations for the contest are available here. Winners of the Best Moment contest will be notified on Monday, Jan. 27, 2025.

The 2024 Best Moment in Cleveland Sports, celebrating the most iconic sports achievement from the previous year, will be announced live during 25th Greater Cleveland Sports Awards presented by Medical Mutual and Ancora on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025, at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse (RMFH).

This year’s Best Moment winner will receive a JACK Cleveland Casino Staycation including a one (1)-night stay at a JACK partner hotel, two (2) Seven Chefs Buffet passes, $100 Free Play and complimentary valet parking, a $550 total value.

In addition to the Best Moment contest, the 2024 Best Moment in Cleveland Sports presented by JACK Entertainment will be a featured award announced during the live awards show. Last year, Best Moment was awarded to the Cleveland Browns Clinching Playoff Berth.

Sports Awards is the premier annual sports fundraiser supporting Greater Cleveland Sports Commission and celebrates a year of athletic achievements in Northeast Ohio from high school stars to professional athletes. New in 2025 is a $75 admission ticket to the “Diehard District,” presented by K&D Group and ESPN Cleveland. Each ticket will include $10 loaded value for concessions and access to the After Party, presented by Westfield. Tickets and tables can be purchased online.

A special fireside chat will take place, including a special reunion marking the 30th anniversary of the 1995 American League Championship team. Confirmed members of the team attending include Mike Hargrove, Carlos Baerga, Albert Belle and Kenny Lofton. Additional attendees to be announced at a later date. (Subject to change.)
