ADDITIONAL CELEBRITIES AND TALENT INTRODUCED FOR 25TH ANNUAL GREATER CLEVELAND SPORTS AWARDS

CLEVELAND, OH – Jan. 14, 2025 – Former show hosts Chris Rose and Jay Crawford will return to the stage at the 25th Annual Greater Cleveland Sports Awards, presented by Medical Mutual and Ancora. This premier annual sports fundraiser supporting the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission will be held on Thursday, Feb. 6, 2025, at the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.

Veteran sports broadcaster and Cleveland native Chris Rose will moderate a special fireside chat, reflecting on memorable moments from the 1995 American League Championship season. National Baseball Hall of Famer Jim Thome, along with Cleveland baseball legends Charles Nagy, Kenny Lofton, and Mike Hargrove, will join Rose for this reunion.

WKYC 3News anchor Jay Crawford will be joined on-stage by Cleveland Browns radio host Nathan Zegura for a tribute as part of the renaming of the Jim Donovan Courage Award presented by Cleveland Clinic Sports Medicine.

The event will feature a high-value silent auction, appearances from top athletes and sports legends who have played a pivotal role in shaping Cleveland’s vibrant sports history, and more. Additional celebrity attendees will be announced in the coming weeks.

Greater Cleveland Sports Awards recognizes the achievements of local and professional athletes across various sports while bringing together local leaders, business figures, and sports fans for a night of celebration and inspiration, showcasing the outstanding contributions Cleveland has made to the world of sports.

New in 2025 is a $75 admission ticket to the Diehard District presented by K&D Group and ESPN Cleveland. Each ticket will include a $10 loaded value for concessions and access to the After Party, presented by Westfield. Tickets and tables can be purchased online.
