2024 NCAA Women's Final Four

From April 4-7, 2024, Cleveland was the epicenter of the sports world!

The 2024 NCAA Women’s Final Four rocked The Land. Whether you attended the games, an ancillary event or a community program, we appreciated your support and passion that contributed to drawing all eyes on Cleveland!

Tens of thousands visited and a combined 40.5 million viewers watched this historic weekend of women’s college basketball. 2024 was the first year the NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship game garnered more viewers (18.9 million) than the NCAA Men’s Championship game (14.8 million) (via Nielsen). The four-day event provided Northeast Ohio with $32.9 million in direct spend, per the Destinations International Event Impact Calculator.

Ancillary Events

Women's Final Four Tourney Town presented by Capital One

Tourney Town was a free festival at Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland that took place throughout the 2024 Women's Final Four weekend. The event was packed with special appearances, interactive games giveaways, historical and Women’s Final Four team displays, photo opportunities, basketball contests, food, licensed merchandise and other activities attendees could enjoy.

Women's Final Four Bounce presented by Buick

Women's Final Four Bounce invited youth ages 18 and under to participate in a free parade that included thousands of fans dribbling basketballs along the streets of Cleveland and into Tourney Town.

Connecting Cleveland presented by AT&T

Connecting Cleveland brought together local college students and industry leaders to drive impactful conversation to spark opportunities for mentorship and inspire the next generation of leaders. Formed around panel discussions and a mentoring series, this free, interactive event featured mentors in various stages of their careers as they engaged with small groups sharing stories, experiences and advice for the future.

Party on the Plaza presented by Buick

This free pre-game event took place outside of Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse to celebrate the Women's Final Four teams while enjoying food & beverage, merchandise sales, music, games, photo opportunities and other activities attendees could enjoy.

Women's Final Four Super Saturday Practice

This free public event took place at Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse on Saturday, April 6, 2024, the day before the national championship. Attendees were able to witness the final two national championship participating teams in an open practice that also included fan activities and promotions from NCAA Corporate Partners.

Super Saturday Concert presented by AT&T

To celebrate the Women's Final Four, Cleveland and the NCAA put on a live concert performed by Hip-Hop and R&B artiest Latto.

Beyond The Baseline

Located inside Tourney Town, Beyond the Baseline included talks, panels and guest speakers to empower and equip women in sport and business with tools for personal and professional success.

Community Programs

Trophy Tour

Tipping off Summer 2023, the Women’s Final Four trophy made its debut tour in Northeast Ohio. The trophy's adventure visited some of Cleveland's iconic landmarks and favorite local spots.

Read to The Final Four

From January to April 2024, local elementary students was encourage to track their reading minutes leading up to the Women's Final Four. Participating students and leading classrooms had received awards at Tourney Town to celebrate their accomplishments. Click here to see the top participating schools.

Legacy Project presented by Dove

Led by the NCAA, a predetermined in-need basketball court was restored with a high quality court for youth to enjoy and participate in basketball clinics.

Band, Cheer and Mascot Community Projects

A community project led by NCAA institution's bands and cheer squads.

Red Carpet Arrivals

A free event where fans gather outside Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse to greet, take pictures and cheer the final two teams prior to the national championship game.
