Top 850+ DIII student-athletes to compete in Northeast Ohio for national titles
Greater Cleveland Sports Commission (GCSC) and the University of Mount Union will welcome the NCAA DIII Men’s & Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships on May 26-28, 2022 at SPIRE Institute & Academy in Geneva, Ohio. The nation’s top 850 DIII male and female student-athletes, as well as coaches and spectators, from across the country will travel to Northeast Ohio to compete for individual and team championship titles in both men’s and women’s track & field events.
This championship will feature over 20 different events during the three-day competition, generating an estimated $2,000,000 in economic impact for Northeast Ohio.

Ticket prices range from $10-$35 and are available for purchase online only.
Additionally, GCSC’s Youth Education Through Sports (YES) Program presented by The Sherwin-Williams Company and The MetroHealth System will host nearly 40 City of Cleveland Recreation Center youth, ages 11-14, to participate in interactive health and wellness activities at SPIRE on the Saturday of the Championship. All youth will also receive admission to watch the Championship Finals.
