GCSC TO HOST NIKE NORTH COAST CUP WELCOMING OVER 2,500 YOUTH VOLLEYBALL ATHLETES TO CLEVELAND

Three-day event to provide $2.3 M in economic impact

Greater Cleveland Sports Commission will host the inaugural Nike North Coast Cup Volleyball tournament on Feb. 18 -20 at the Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland. The first-year event will welcome over 2,500 regional youth athletes, ages 12-18, to Northeast Ohio to compete in Cleveland over President’s Day weekend.

Nike North Coast Cup is projected to provide an estimated $2.3 million in economic impact to the region during the largest youth volleyball weekend in the country. Cleveland is slated to host this event through 2026.

Tickets are available online and range from $10 - $25. Spectators can purchase daily or multi-day passes.

Montage Sports, the event producer, specializes in sports for youth up to 18 years old with the goal of growing the love of volleyball through motor patterns, skills training, competitive competence, and ability, in order to create confidence and leadership skills in youth.

Additionally, as the second of three youth volleyball tournaments held in Cleveland this year, Montage Sports will return to host the Nike North Coast Open in April.
