FALL 2025: BID IS WON!

Cleveland is officially named the host city for the 2030 Special Olympics USA Games, kicking off a multi-year journey of community preparation and excitement.

EARLY 2026: SHAPING THE BRAND!

Community input from the local survey is utilized to design the official Games logo, theme, and visual identity that reflects the spirit of Ohio.

SUMMER 2026: THE HAND-OFF! 

All eyes turn to the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games in Minnesota as Cleveland leaders observe operations and officially accept the passing of the torch for 2030.

2027-2028: VENUE & SPORT UNVEILING! 

Official announcements regarding competition venues across Greater Cleveland, specific sporting events, and key community milestones.

2029: VOLUNTEER & EVENT SCHEDULES! 

The massive mobilization of 10,000+ local volunteers begins, and schedules are finalized for next summer.
